Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil

Simply remarkable is what comes to mind when one becomes aware of the songs written by the husband and wife team of Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. They have written some of the greatest songs in rock and pop ever created. In fact, not only did “Make Your Own Kind Of Music” appear on the scene in 1968 but it became prominent in the television series “Lost” in 2005 whereby a new generation became fans of the song. Hard to believe that this classic only reached #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1969.
